Overview
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will take place inside and outside of a company office.
Opportunity to work for the industry leading portfolio department for a top 20 Bank, with advancement opportunities both in the department and other functional areas of Commercial Services at First Citizens Bank. You will primarily be responsible for managing, maintaining, and controlling a portfolio of larger more complex client relationships. You will analyze and monitor clients' financial and collateral performance by implementing and maintaining a system of controls and checks & balances. This role is a hybrid role and you will be working in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for managing, maintaining, & controlling a portfolio of larger, more complex client relationships.Analyze and monitor clients' financial and collateral performance by implementing, maintaining a system of controls, and checks and balances.Maintain knowledge of clients' financial condition, collateral evaluation, and industry trendsEnsure portfolio is compliant with First Citizens and CIT Policies and Procedures including Client Credit Authorities and Risk Rating Procedures.Familiarity with and ability to apply and understand CIT's Compliance procedures to meet government and company regulations and risk profiles.Coordinate with area operations and audit staff to ensure that clients' information is accurate, current, complete, and presented on a timely basis.Cultivate/manage relationships with the borrowers and referral sourcesReview/analyze interim and fiscal year-end financial statements and client projections on a timely basis and prepare comprehensive credit analysis reports.Visit and communicate with clients as necessaryResponsible for generating new business along with new business referral source generation
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Financial Services OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Financial Services
Preferred:
7 years of progressive portfolio management/underwriting experience with relevant focus in the leverage lending sector, with a focus on Retail, Apparel, Consumer Products preferredRequired BA in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field or any degree with relevant professional experience requiredCommercial Banking, Factoring, Asset Based Lending, Collateral Management, and Financial Analysis experience
The base pay for this position is generally between $150,000.00 and $180,000.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
