Amentum is currently seeking a

Windows System Administrator

to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.You will be a part of a team thatAs a member of the team, you will:Provide both classified and unclassified server support in a physical and virtual Windows based environment.If selected applicant has Linux experience as well, they will be assigned to support RedHat Linux servers.Responsibilities will also include automating tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.Responsible for networking tasks from machine to wall and should be prepared to troubleshoot network and serve issues independently.Minimum Qualifications:Must have a Bachelors degree in a IT related field and 4 years of experience OR an Associates degree and 7 years of experience OR a High School degree/GED OR equivalent years of experiences/ certifications.Related experience can be substituted for relevant education and vice versa.Must have an ACTIVE DOE Q or TOP SECRET clearance.Windows Server System Administration experience at least 1-3 years.SharePoint Server Administration Experience at least 2 years.Familiarity with network protocols and network management technologies.Skill utilizing software diagnostic tools and the ability to conduct appropriate troubleshooting processes and conduct appropriate upgrades.Ability to understand the application and utilization of software packages, maintain accurate records.Ability to research, assemble, and evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes and recommend sound, practical solutions to complex issues.Ability to define systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.Ability to define technical standards and functionality tests, and to develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides.Computer and network troubleshooting.Excellent customer service and communication skills with customers, vendors, and database administrators.Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.Preferred Qualifications:• STIG or system hardening• Linux Server System Administration & UNIX experience at least 1-3 years• Prior working experience with Sandia infrastructure• Windows system administration experience at least 1-3 years• Automation platforms such as Ansible, VMware, Python at least 1-3 years• Experience leading and implementing large technical solutions• Experience in Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting language for automating System Admin tasks or troubleshooting existing processes• Experience with container technology, such as Kubernetes, RKE, Docker, etc.• Virtualization, servers, storage, and networking equipment experience• ESXI or similar hypervisor experience• Sec + or other security certificationAmentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
