Tractor Trailer Drop Hook Driver

Ecosouth is a growing company within the waste and recycling industry. We are looking to hire for our Landfill in Florida. We are actively looking for an experienced Tipper Truck. Responsibilities: • Haul tipper trailers from the drop hook area up to the tipper on the Landfill then back down to the drop and hook area • Must attend and participate in all training and safety programs. • Must wear proper PPE at all times • Must follow all safety protocols for the landfill • report down equipment • Team payer Qualifications: • Class A License Preferred • 1 year of experience • High School Diploma • Includes: Lifting, Carrying, Pushing/Pulling, Sitting, Standing, Squatting/Kneeling, Walking, Speaking, Hearing, Vision, and Manual Dexterity • Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions, and other business interactions • Hearing: Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals • Speaking: Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying sizes with or without amplification • Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of tools • Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg • Lifting: able to lift up to 30lbs/14kg • Squatting/Kneeling: able to squat or kneel • Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information • Walking: Able to walk through the landfill and other outside elements Compensation: $19 - 20 hourly
