Role Overview:The Sales Manager is a vital leadership role within our operations team, overseeing the Sales group's performance and contributing to revenue growth. This role involves training, coaching, and managing sales staff, as well as overseeing the company's sales budget and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of inside sales representatives and sales staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.

Partner with departments including Production, Marketing, Finance, and HR to optimize project execution and resource allocation.

Develop and manage sales budgets, monitoring expenses throughout the sales cycle.

Track and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates to the Operations Director.

Serve as the primary contact for escalated client issues, ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout each project.

Support leadership in designing, implementing, and refining sales processes, procedures, and initiatives.

Mentor junior sales team members, fostering skill development and enhanced project outcomes.

Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies for successful project delivery.

Master and train others on the "Peace of Mind" Sales process (8-step), providing ongoing education for team members.

Play a pivotal role in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the sales team.

Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years in construction management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Industry Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of roofing, siding, and window trades, along with construction methodologies, building codes, and industry regulations.

Supplier Management:

Experience working with suppliers and related product lines.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.

Technical Proficiency:

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Strategic Thinking:

High level of strategic planning and creative problem-solving.

Communication:

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Independence & Teamwork:

Able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Self-Motivation:

Proven track record of exceeding goals.

Adaptability:

Willingness to learn new skills.

Other Requirements:

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Additional Requirements:

Background Check:

Must pass a background check before hiring.

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with Acculynx CRM is a strong plus.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Capacity to travel between multiple locations daily.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry and climb ladders.

Able to work on a computer for prolonged periods.
