Hybrid: Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

This position is located in either Wayne, NJ, Ft. Wayne, IN, or Hudson, NH. Candidate should be within reasonable commuting distance to these locations. For candidates applying in the Greater Boston/southern New Hampshire area, the travel requirement will be closer to 50% due to program requirements. Relocation assistance can be available for candidates who are willing to relocate for this position.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain to lead and guide a geographically dispersed team of supply chain professionals within our Adaptive Communications & Sensing (AC&S) Product Line. This role is highly visible and will have direct engagement with functional, product line and business area leadership. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in procurement, subcontracts, logistics and planning and act as the interface to the product area, consulting on contractual matters, subcontracting strategies, internal and external audits, and ensuring compliant proposals. This individual is accountable for the technical, financial, schedule and quality performance of all supply chain activities, as well as the proactive coordination of the internal team support necessary for supply chain success.

This role is responsible for identifying opportunities and developing strategies to reduce risk and drive long-term affordability for AC&S and will report to the C4ISR Supply Chain Director.

Talent development and training management will be a major focus for this leader by planning, developing, and executing training and development plans for their team, while also evaluating and maintaining the appropriate staffing to support the supply chain requirements of the product line.Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in the following: Material Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, or Production PlanningProven leadership and organizational change experience:

Ability to motivate and manage personnel.Excellent verbal and written communicationExcellent time management/organizational skillsStrategic/Critical ThinkingAbility to find win-win solutions; a “make it happen” attitude.

Understanding of the role of supply chain in complex industries, preferably in Aerospace & Defense.Ability to prioritize departmental activities set effective (SMART) goals and objectives in line with overall corporate strategy.Financial AcumenModerate experience and familiarity with commercial and/or FAR/DFAR terms and conditionsRoot Cause/Corrective Action SkillsExperience in Procurement and supplier performance & relationship managementProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems.Knowledge of Manufacturing processesSales & Operations Experience / knowledgeCreate presentation materials and give presentations to leadership team, production team, and customersAbility to forge positive relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of management and with all departmentsPlease note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status. Master's degree in supply chain or relevant major.Proven experience building/managing a Supply Chain organization with a strong leadership track record and thorough understanding of Operations practices (Sales & Operation Planning).ACSM certification.Ability to implement Lean & Six Sigma process improvementsWillingness and desire for continuous improvement, showing initiative by undertaking self-development activities, seeking increased responsibilities, and taking advantage of learning opportunitiesWell versed with Oracle ERP systemExperience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $128100 - $217800

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
