We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious student to join our HR Argo/Mapleton team for summer 2025! In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional team members at the Argo plant and corporate functions, providing support and guidance to achieve our HR goals. We are looking for someone with a great service attitude, a strong focus on results, proficiency in data analysis and project management, and the initiative to improve the status quo and drive change in a dynamic and agile work environment. Your role will be:
Tracking, analyzing, and updating monthly HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Argo and Mapleton
Lead the implementation of the Clock System to automate attendance and payroll process. Develop the project charter, flow chart and estimated cost to execute implementation
Support employee events to improve culture and engagement across the Argo plant with a strong correlation with our values and Inclusion & Belonging strategy
Lead automation for key training process:
Develop Power BI dashboard to show the 3 Key Data Points (Risk of Retirement, Versatility, Training Time) so that plant leadership can identify risks and training can be more proactive
Develop Power BI dashboard to show the correlation between department productivity and proficiency levels to give data how knowledge and training affect output
Work with Training, IPS, and Digital Ops teams to develop Power App to digital track PCA's within the department
Your profile needs these qualifications:
Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business, Economics, or a related field with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred.
Ability to work 40 hrs. per week during summer
Strong business insight and continuous improvement skills
General knowledge of Microsoft Office
Outstanding attention to detail with verbal and written communication skills
Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written technical communication skills, e.g. making presentations, and writing technical data/reports.
Working knowledge of basic computer software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
You’ll need these skills to be successful:
Proven ability to deliver under agreed upon deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with peers and others
Solid teamwork skills and creative problem solving
Well organized and can prioritize workloads

Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program. If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior.

This pay rate is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
