Estate Settlement AttorneyWe are seeking an experienced Estate Settlement Attorney to oversee all stages of estate settlement, including asset valuation, debt payment, tax preparation, and probate accounting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trusts, estates, investments, and tax laws, with 7-10+ years of previous estate settlement experience. This is a hybrid position that demands a high level of client engagement and collaboration with internal and external partners.Key Responsibilities Include:Manage all aspects of estate settlement, from asset valuation to asset distribution and trust fundingCreate and maintain a detailed timetable for efficient completion of tasksPrepare accurate federal and state estate or inheritance tax returnsAnalyze estate tax planning documents and provide valuable insights to TrusteesOversee the probate accounting process and collaborate with internal and external partnersParticipate in the gift tax return process, including processing and reviewing complex returnsQualifications:Juris Doctor with demonstrated experience in estate settlementMember of the Massachusetts Bar Association7-10+ years of previous estate settlement experience
