Excellent growth potential! Our client is a well-established project management organization in the Newton area. They are seeking a Human Resources Manager for a contract to hire role. Candidates must have a background in Recruitment & Employee Relations, Payroll & Benefits and Policy Management. The starting salary is $110k-$125k based on experience.
Responsibilities
Manage recruitment efforts nationwide, including writing and placing job advertisements.
Conduct new employee orientations and develop a career development program.
Collaborate on employee training programs and provide coaching on recruitment, performance management, and employee development.
Handle employee relations issues, including counseling, and exit interviews.
Maintain HR documentation, including employment verifications and performance management records.
Ensure compliance with employment reporting requirements for federal contracts.
Oversee the organization's benefits program and communicate benefit information to employees.
Remain current on health and retirement benefits and regulatory requirements.
Administer and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Maintain the employee handbook and ensure personnel folders meet legal standards.
Participate in strategic planning meetings to assess human capital needs and budgeting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
5-8 years of experience as an HR Manager or Generalist.
Strong recruiting background with knowledge of benefits and compensation management.
Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or MBA in Human Resources or a related field.
10+ years of experience in human resources.
Advanced knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
