Duties: The Staff at Cleveland Clinic's Department of General Surgery at its Main Campus (9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44195) is a member of a multi-disciplinary Intestinal & Multivisceral Transplant program within the Center for Gut Rehabilitation & Transplantation ("CGRT"). He or she provides transplant-related care in both the outpatient and inpatient setting, including intestinal transplantation, gut rehabilitation, and gastrointestinal dysmotility. The Staff will be responsible for directing and coordinating patient care activities for students, residents, fellows and other medical staff to deliver high-quality nutritional support, prehabilitation, and surgical recovery for a complex group of patients. Job duties include research, clinical responsibilities, and leading a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, clinical associates, surgical residents, and advanced practice providers. This position includes on-call responsibilities.
Requirements: MD or foreign equivalent as determined by a credentials evaluation or as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate; completion of a Fellowship in Abdominal Transplant Surgery; completion of a Fellowship in Intestinal and Multivisceral Transplantation; and eligibility for Ohio medical licensure.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($470,000 per year)
