Radiation TherapistWillamette Valley Cancer Institute is looking for a
Radiation Therapist
to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. We offer cutting edge treatments and services to each patient. Our multidisciplinary Radiation Oncology team puts each patient at the forefront of our care, with safety as our top priority. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for accurately administering therapeutic doses of ionizing radiation according to the approved prescription of the Radiation Oncologist.The general pay scale for this position at WVCI is $34.41 - $69.68. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.$2,500 sign-on bonus$7,500 bonus after 18 months$5,000 relocation assistanceEmployment Type : Full Time, 1.0 FTE (40 hrs/week)Benefits : M/D/V, Life Ins., 401(k), paid time offLocation : Eugene, ORResponsibilities
Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.Accurately enters and maintains patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record.Participates in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.Assists in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.Accurately interprets a computerized treatment plan.Maintains clean, safe, and organized work environment.Current Equipment:

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.Bachelor Degree preferredOBMI License at time of Start Date - ARRT license RequiredBLS CertificationPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
