Associate Director, Global Real World Evidence (RWE) - 2406221947WDescriptionJohnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting an Associate Director, Global Real World Evidence, located in Raritan, NJ.In this position, the Associate Director, Global Real World Evidence, will support strategy development and execution of industry-leading RWE capabilities and talent development across the Janssen Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO). This individual will report directly to the Senior Director/Director, Global Real World Evidence, and partner closely with RWE Researchers and Programmers in the GRWE Analytic Hub, to optimize our global go-to-market launch planning strategies through innovative and highly strategic decisions and investments using RWE.This individual will also manage key partnerships, liaising with GCDS verticals as well as cross-functional and regional partners from Global Medical Affairs, Global Market Access, Global Marketing, Global Epidemiology, J&J Technology Data Sciences, Janssen R&D Data Science, regional medical affairs and evidence generation functions, and others.Key Responsibilities:Support the development of the global strategy for the generation and utilization of RWE for key pipeline assets, including data-driven patient journeys and understanding of unmet medical needs.Build strong partnerships with Global Medical Affairs, Global Market Access, and other cross-functional Integrated Evidence Generation Planning (IEG) partners to co-create RWE strategies.Lead RWE research studies and other RWE-related projects for multiple JNJ products, aligned with cross-functional partners for business needs.Lead Researchers and Programmers within the GRWE Analytic Hub in executing strategies to generate evidence and demonstrate value for Johnson & Johnson products, from concept through publication.Identify and share best practices regarding methods of RWE studies, expanding internal Janssen/J&J knowledge and capacity to use evolving methodologies in RWE studies.Ensure quality of design, execution, and publication of real-world evidence studies, and quality of models & tools developed for business partners.Contribute to refining governance processes and local/global standards in methodologies.Analyze and interpret data to support urgent requests from internal and external stakeholders.Lead the coordination and execution of Evidence Labs, building learnings and striving for continuous improvements.Represent the GRWE team on assigned cross-functional franchise teams with internal partners.Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and commercial regulations in conducting research and disseminating scientific information.Qualifications:A minimum of a Master's Degree in Public Health, Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or related field is required. An Advanced Degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) is preferred.A minimum of 5 or more years of relevant experience is required.Experience with RWE in a commercial, medical affairs, scientific affairs, and/or R&D environment is required.Exposure to outcomes-based strategies and tactics to meet both commercial and scientific objectives is required.Experience in executing projects with highly technical data and communicating results to technical and non-technical audiences is required.Working knowledge of and/or experience with the reimbursement environment for key international markets is preferred.Excellent communication and training skills are required.Hands-on experience with programming in major statistical analysis systems, such as SAS, R, and Python is required.Expertise working with claims databases and electronic medical (health) records is required.Significant prior publication track record in epidemiology, clinical, statistical, and/or health economic journals is required.This position is located in Raritan, NJ and will require 10% for mostly domestic travel.Compensation:The anticipated base pay range for this position is $137,000 to $235,750 USD.
