Position Details:
KeepStock is a Grainger managed inventory solution that helps customers manage their on-hand inventory, reduce time and labor costs, and save valuable space. As a Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst on the KeepStock team, you will provide functional expertise and guidance for daily execution of select system functionality of the inventory planning system. You will create new processes/automate existing processes/policies for Demand Management, Forecasting, EOQ/Safety Stock Planning. You will also administer current stocking policies, ensure the accurate delivery of inventory plan updates, support continuous improvement goals, and ensure documentation of systems procedures. You will report to the Sr Manager, Inventory Management and Optimization.
You Will:
Aide in developing supply chain strategies to meet customer service initiatives and meet inventory performance targets for KeepStock customers.
Build models that predict the impact on demand and recommend inventory purchase quantities to ensure we maintain high service levels throughout the promotion.
Build & validate advanced analytical and statistical models, using forecasting, optimization, and simulation e.g. linear programming, integer programming etc.
Participate/lead discussions with representatives to adapt the planning system to accommodate business unit needs.
Work with data using R, Python, Julia, or Gurobi.
Deploy models and solutions using Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Apache Airflow.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Statistics or related field.
Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
5 + years' experience in related field, supply chain experience highly preferred.
Passion for using languages to work with large-scale data (e.g. SQL, R, Python).
