Job Summary:Provide professional acquisition support services in the areas of policy development and other management consulting support. The work performed in conformance with all Government regulations and policies including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Task Order performance may occur at the Customer's Offices in Washington, D.C., however, work is planned to be performed virtually with an approved remote telework agreement.
Responsibilities:Requires a PM with the technical skills to effectively manage a project similar in size and complexity of this requirement.The PM shall be a multi-functional individual.The PM shall have the ability to understand all aspects of the tasks and be able to effectively collaborate with government staff to ensure quality and follow through.The PM shall demonstrate strong managerial experience in providing technical advice, organizing, and planning to ensure that goals and objectives of the project, as well as, problem resolution and customer satisfaction, is accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.The PM shall be a detail-oriented individual with excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to technical abilities.The PM shall be readily available and able to respond to Government issues, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in identifying process improvement recommendations and alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues.Education/Certifications:Possess DAWIA level III, FAC-C level III, NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager, or NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager certification.Provide a copy of the certifications.Required Qualifications:Possess ten (10) years of demonstrated experience conducting quality management activities of Government acquisitions.Possess five (5) years of demonstrated experience developing acquisition policy and guidance.Possess DAWIA level III, FAC-C level III, NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager, or NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager certification. Provide a copy of the certifications.Demonstrated knowledge of the required task areas to include but not limited to the administration of the GPC Program; IV&V process; and unliquidated obligation monitoring.Demonstrated experience and knowledge of process improvement initiatives, performance management, and project control principles.Demonstrated experience identifying user requirements; translating the requirements into project plans and milestones; directing and implementing plans; and presenting formal project status/plan briefings to the Government managers.Demonstrated ability in oral and written communication.Must be a US Citizen.Corporate Summary:Acquisition Professionals (AP) LLC is an Economically Disadvantaged, Woman-Owned, 8 (A) small business.
