Direct Hire ! 1st Shift (5am-1:30pm) Up to $26/hr.SummaryPlans and performs a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical control machining centers to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specifications by performing the following duties:Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInterpret complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done.Perform diversified operations on numerical control machining centers.Perform a variety of milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to close and interrelated tolerances.Review setup sheet and specifications to determine machining sequence and dimensions of finished workpiece.Machine materials other than metal, such as composites, plastic, and rubber.Clean machine, tooling, and parts.Perform machine maintenance.Education and/or Experience
Pays attention to detail, thoroughness, functional skills, and verbal communication.Other experiences in sheet metal fabrication a plus.High School Education.Language SkillsGood communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to read, analyze and interpret common instructions.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Mathematical SkillsBasic math.Ability to read blueprints; ability to use calipers and/or other measuring tools.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
