Sr. Manager, Productivity & Supply Chain Dev.- Meat & Cheese

The role involves leading productivity and supply chain development efforts for large-scale projects within the Meat & Cheese Supply Chain. Key responsibilities include tracking project timelines and costs, troubleshooting financial issues, delivering financial targets, and ensuring effective collaboration with manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain partners.Essential ResponsibilitiesProductivityLead productivity efforts for large scale projects. Ensure effective team engagement which may include establishing and leading team meetings. Review project timelines and costs regularly with the project team, facilitate creation of mitigation/contingency plans, and lead communication.Track and forecast all Productivity projects across the Meat & Cheese Supply Chain.Troubleshoot financial and system issues to ensure appropriate tracking and forecasting of Productivity projects.Lead and deliver assigned financial targets while leading resource & funding prioritization. Engage and support efficiency agenda to deliver cost reduction targets.Support Business and Manufacturing Systems initiatives as the need arises and support continuous improvement through collaboration with key partners and standard methodology sharing.Lead and/or participate in various partner governance forums (i.e. Ops Stage gate/Leadership teams).Supply Chain DevelopmentLead commercialization effort for large scale projects, platform innovation programs, or significant capital related initiatives. Review project timelines and costs regularly with the project team, facilitate creation of mitigation/contingency plans, and manage communication. Ensure effective team engagement with the manufacturing location, R&D, supply planning, and engineering.Ensure appropriate capacity for new business initiatives and growth plans across product life cycle. Develop and recommend alternatives as needed. Provide updates to project sponsors and stakeholders on key initiatives, including progress against deliverables, cost management, next steps, and needs from sponsors to alleviate hurdles. Escalate concerns and issues, define options/trade-offs, and provide team recommendations.Lead internal feasibility assessment and business case to support business team’s scoping requests; identify impact across the supply chain with regard to cost of goods sold e.g. route to market, capacity utilization, manufacturing efficiency, quality, safety.Partner with External Manufacturing managers and EM procurement to deliver against scoping activities outside of current Kraft Heinz capabilities.Lead and/or participate in various stakeholder governance forums (i.e. Stage gate/Leadership teams).Partner with the Business Units/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Engineering to develop a strategic capacity plan.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Chemistry, or other related field.Minimum of 4 years combined experience in manufacturing, business development, engineering, or HQ business team experience.1 year experience in Project Management for Consumer Products.1 year experience in Basic Supply Chain/Finance Principles.Competencies/Abilities:Analytical skills.Work towards results.Strong financial acumen.Ability to plan and complete transformation of the supply chains from a cost standpoint.Building and strengthening relationships.Leading through ambiguity.Communication - Written and Presentation.Locations: Chicago/Aon, Glenview, or any Meat & Cheese Plant (Columbia, Coshocton, Davenport, Kirksville, New Ulm, Newberry, Springfield).Kraft Heinz is an Equal Opportunity Employer that prohibits discrimination or harassment of any type.
