Supply Chain Analyst

Lighting Sector Finelite Team

Union City, CA.
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will assist the Supply Chain team in ensuring that products are delivered efficiently, cost effectively, and in accordance with customer demand. procurement process. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting of material and inventory health, supplier communication, and process improvements of the supply chain process. The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain team on activities related from purchase orders to goods delivery.
What Will You Do?
To succeed in this role, you need to be data driven, business-oriented, cost conscious, and customer-center. In this role, you will:
Utilize SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources, such as ERP systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
Create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or Excel to present analytical findings and metrics to stakeholders.
Analyze sales forecast and recommend necessary adjustments, including identifying exceptional demand.
Analyze inventory levels and propose strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
Identify areas for improvement in the supply chain processes and propose solutions for improvement.
Evaluate supplier performance metrics.
Support the Purchasing team in preparing and managing purchase orders and supplier relationships.
Assist the Finance and Stockroom teams with invoice issues, utilizing early payment discounts and avoiding late payments.
Research market prices and trends to make recommendations on cost-savings.
Analyze price changes and communicate recommendations to management.
Undertake additional projects, including special analysis, cross-functional participation, and strategic support initiatives.
QualificationsRequired Skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), data visualization tools.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and manipulation.
Excellent in data analysis and deriving meaningful insights to improve business performance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of supply chain management.
APICS certification, a plus.
Availability:
Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week).
Must be available to work on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office per week) in our Finelite, CA office.
Learning Skills/Outcomes:

Pay Range:
$75,600-$92,900/annually
