The Opportunity:
We are seeking an investment advisor to join our investment consulting team and play a leading role in the build of our investment consulting practice. The successful candidate will become a member of the Canadian Leadership Team and will report directly to the Canadian Business Leader. They will be responsible for client advising on all investment related matters of various plans and asset owners, investment research, and business relationship in the Canadian marketplace.
The Role:
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated client experience with pension funds, benefit funds, and wealth management organizations.
The candidate will demonstrate the following:
- a deep understanding of investment markets, strategies, structuring, and relevant investment managers and sources,
- will contribute to portfolio asset allocation, risk, performance attribution, and operational projects,
- as a leader, will contribute time to training, managing, and mentoring other team members.

Requirements:
The candidates under consideration will require:
- High ethical and professional standards.
- Fifteen plus years of relevant investment advising experience with institutional asset owners.
- CFA designation.
- Qualified experience for the OSC portfolio manager registration.
- Compliance experience will be a plus.
- Proven leadership and collaboration ability.
- Strong interpersonal skills to independently interact with clients, investor community, and investment managers.
- Collaborative team skills as an excellent listener, learner, and contributor.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy against deadlines.

The current salary range for this position is $180,000 CAD to $220,000 CAD plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
