What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will collect and analyze human capital data to identify trends, develop visualizations in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for the Department of Justice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and data storytelling skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to identify business problems and develop solutions
  • Conduct research, analyze data and create reports to provide insights and recommendations
  • Leading design and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using tools such as Power BI, PowerApps, and Excel
  • Creating data cleaning scripts using tools such as R, Python, and SQL
  • Provide analytics, data science, and business intelligence support to HR leaders
  • Identifying and creating additional data visualization capabilities, as needed
  • Performing analytics on diverse disparate data to identify trends and advise senior leadership on policy and procedure
  • Analyzing current process and identifying potential improvements
  • Facilitating data and automation discussions with non-technical stakeholders
  • Providing ad-hoc data services
  • Summarizing and presenting information and reports to the team and make recommendations (both oral and written).

** This role is 100% onsite **

What You Will Need:
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelors in a quantitative, analytical, or computational discipline e with TWO (2) year or more years of data analytics or data science experience.
  • Power BI, Tableau PowerApps, OR Python experience


What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Google analytics, Google tag manager, Website analytics, Sentiment analysis, Talkwalker
  • Experience with I/O Psychology
  • Redshift
  • Power BI
  • Proficiency using Python, SQL, R, etc. for data cleansing
  • Power Platform experience
  • Experience with human capital management, workforce planning or organizational design.
  • Experience with HR data analytics and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Capability to manage multi-task projects
  • Ability to deliver insights to diverse groups of functional and technical staff
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to management and client needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within an organization
  • Statistical expertise
  • Experience working with human capital-related data


The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
