Role Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Conduct investigations and provide counsel to managers and employees to foster a positive work environment.
- Benefits Administration: Serve as the primary benefits lead, managing open enrollment, benefits inquiries, and coordination with vendors. Educate employees on available benefits and assist with claims and changes throughout the year.
- Performance Management: Guide managers and employees through performance management processes, including reviews, coaching, and improvement plans. Support succession planning and provide coaching on performance issues when necessary.
- HR Compliance: Prepare and maintain accurate HR compliance reports, ensuring alignment with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay updated on changes in HR laws and regulations to keep policies current and mitigate legal risks.
What the Role Requires:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of Human Resources experience, including employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Proficiency in HRIS and LMS platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
