Job Summary:
Document Controllers are responsible for managing company documents while ensuring their accuracy, quality and integrity. They help companies adhere to record retention policies, safeguard information and retrieve data more effectively. They store, manage and track company documents. They are responsible for training employees on records management procedures and policies, which include documentation, retention, retrieval, destruction and disaster recovery.
Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
High school diploma or GED. Two-year computer/business degree preferred. General knowledge of injection molding and manufacturing operations desired. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail. Intermediate computer experience, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel. Delmia Works/IQMS software experience and blueprint reading experience desired.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Create, maintain, and distribute control plans.•Creating and updating DelmiaWorks/IQMS-SPC inspection templates.•Utilize blueprints and customer specifications to develop control plans.•Maintain Library of Working files for part numbers produced at the Asheboro Campus.•Maintain system to document revision levels and deactivate or obsolete files as needed.•Maintain Change Request Form/ECO log for both manual and electronic Change Request Forms/ECOs.•Assign Change Request Form numbers to approved manual Change Request Forms.•Communicate the status of Change Requests to stakeholders through the Change Request process.•Responsible for filing and maintaining electronic and/or hardcopy records (i.e. IQ/OQ/PQ reports, Change Requests, etc.).•Maintain Hazard Assessment sheets.•Access customer portals, customer libraries, etc. to retrieve the latest information and communicate to stakeholders.•Participate in internal and external audits as requested•Complete reports as requested.•Perform additional duties as needed.•Ability to interact with employees from various departments and levels within the organization.
