VIP Distributing is a General Motors Accessories distributor in the Midwest, servicing close to 200 Chevy, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac Dealers, exclusively. This particular position is at our Bloomington, Illinois warehouse, and pay starts at $18.00/hour based on experience Our team works with a collaborative approach and encourages success amongst each of our members. The management team is very hands-on. We invest in our employees and promote from within often.

Responsibilities

Receives and reads customer orders to identify item(s) to be pulled and their location codes.

Pull, count and distribute products from warehouse bin locations to the production floor or packs and ships to fill customer orders.

Enters appropriate information into computer systems to ensure correct inventory counts.

Moves inventory

Lift cartons up to 50 lbs on and off skids

Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to utilizing all harness equipment, the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out-tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.

Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Organize schedule of deliveries

Maintain cleanliness and operability of delivery truck

Perform Safe pick up and deliveries

Keep parts department up-to-date on delivery schedule

Work with Parts Manager to identify potential clients

Complete sales calls as determined by the Parts Manager

Perform all other duties as assigned

Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need.

Required Skills

Ability to read, understand and carry out written instructions.

Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Must be willing to submit to drug screening and background check

Excellent customer service skills.

Professional appearance and work ethic.

Ability to work well in a process driven environment.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
