Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive D365 Master Data Manager to oversee the governance, integrity, and management of master data within the Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy across all business processes. This role will also be responsible for developing data governance frameworks and ensuring the consistency and reliability of critical business data. As a core function, this role will lead the creation, standardization, and maintenance of master data within D365 F&O, ensuring alignment with business objectives. They will play a leading role in defining data governance policies, improving data quality, and supporting the accurate flow of information throughout the organization. The D365 Master Data Manager will also ensure that data is effectively utilized in areas such as finance, operations, inventory, and supply chain management. As an adjunct function, they will provide training and support to end users, develop and maintain data documentation, and collaborate with IT and business units to address data-related issues and improvements. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, managing data governance initiatives, and driving process improvements that enhance data accuracy and accessibility across the organization. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Master Data Management (MDM): Lead the management, standardization, and governance of master data within the D365 F&O system. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical data across all business areas, including finance, operations, production, inventory, and supply chain. Establish and enforce data quality policies, standards, and procedures. Data Governance: Implement and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data is managed according to best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain master data elements and hierarchies, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Establish internal controls in high-risk areas to ensure data integrity is maintained. Data Integrity & Validation: Monitor, audit, and validate data to ensure consistency and accuracy. Proactively identify and resolve any data issues or discrepancies. Work with IT and other departments to develop tools and reports for data validation and quality monitoring. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve master data processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency. Lead projects related to data migration, system upgrades, and integrations involving master data. Collaboration & Training: Work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, supply chain, operations, IT) to ensure data requirements are met and maintained. Provide training and support to users and data stewards on master data standards and best practices. Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide insights into master data quality and performance. Support analytics and reporting needs by ensuring data accuracy and availability. Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or related field. 3 years of experience in data management roles, with a focus on Microsoft D365 F&O. Strong understanding of master data management principles, data governance, and data quality standards. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or supply chain environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in the Food and Beverage or manufacturing industry is a plus. Experience with data migration, data integration, or system upgrades. Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI). Knowledge of SQL and database management is an advantage.
