In this position you will serve as the business operations and product owner manager for the Claims Department. Drive quality, effectiveness, and efficiency through collaboration with VP/Corporate Governance and Administration,VP - Claims, other Claims managers, and other business leaders. Advance the claims department's data & analytics capabilities and utilization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead, mentor, guide, hire, train, and develop claims personnel in claims activities, related to business operations, and data analytics to achieve department and corporate objectives. Act as Product Owner for Columbia Insurance Group instance of Guidewire Claims Center Act as Product Owner for all Claims related SaaS vendor solutions, which includes contract management, IT security engagement, coordination of ongoing SLA's, coordination of performance improvement plans, etc. Act as primary point of contact for all TPA partnerships, which includes contract management, IT security engagement, coordination of ongoing SLA's, coordination of performance improvement plans, etc. In collaboration with the senior leaders develop a strategy for reporting strategic Claims KPI's across departments In conjunction with Claims field leadership, lead the data and analytics governance process for internal Claims operational reporting. Act as business lead for all statutory, regulatory, and bureau required Claims data calls and statistical reporting. Work with IT to create/approve any required data reports, validate, and release to appropriate stakeholders. Work closely with external and internal auditors to support audit activities and participate in audits, as needed, to monitor and analyze compliance within file activities. Corporate function liaison to include IT security, ERM, financial reconciliation such as 1099, OFAC, and escheatment. Support claims VP by overseeing day-to-day operational management of budget setting and monitoring, headcount, and departmental projects. Lead the Claims onboarding and department training program. Development claim KPI reporting, maintenance, and delivery of data to teams and management. Qualifications

Required

Qualifications

At least 5 years of /Business Operations/ Product Owner Lead experience At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory position Thorough understanding of ISO Commercial manuals, rating, and statistical plans. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Claims experience and knowledge of claim duties/operations Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience implementing a new core insurance suite Experience in designing and developing enterprise level strategies. Experience in development of claim reports and analyzing of data EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree required Advanced degree and/or certification preferred
