Opportunity for growth!Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on cost and project estimation. This individual will play a crucial role in our engineering projects, providing accurate cost estimates that will drive our budgeting and financial planning processes. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and challenging projects, with the potential for professional growth and career advancement.Responsibilities:As an Electrical Estimator, your key responsibilities will include:1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical engineering projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.2. Utilizing software tools such as Conest, Intellibid, and Accubid to generate accurate and reliable cost estimates.3. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather all necessary data for cost estimation.4. Applying NECA MLU rates to ensure accurate labor cost estimation.5. Reviewing project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and areas of risk.6. Participating in project bid meetings and presenting cost estimates to stakeholders.7. Regularly reviewing and updating cost estimation processes and methodologies to ensure continuous improvement.8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and changes in electrical codes and standards that may impact cost estimation.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical cost and project estimation.3. Proficiency in using cost estimation software such as Conest, Intellibid, and Accubid.4. Familiarity with NECA MLU rates and their application in labor cost estimation.5. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.7. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.8. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.9.
