As a staff-level team member on Marketing Science, you can expect to work on the following:Lead R&D for new and existing data science powered products at Northbeam.Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to take working proofs of concept into production for our growing customer base.Provide technical expertise and support for non-technical stakeholders (internal and external).Educate colleagues in other departments about the use of data science in marketing and advertising.About YouRequirementsBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a highly quantitative STEM fieldStrong first-principles understanding of statistics, linear algebra, probability, and machine learningExperience with at least three of the following: regression, time series analysis, causal inference, statistical testing, Bayesian modeling, optimization, signal processingStrong programming skills, and ability to implement data science solutions within a production codebase using clean, interpretable, and maintainable codeExpertise in PythonMinimum 4+ years of professional experience as a data scientist, ML engineer, or quantExperience with (or enthusiasm about) in a small, fast-paced company, and leading the implementation of projects start-to-finish in a results driven startup environmentExperience with differentiable programming or probabilistic programming (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, Pyro, PyMC)Experience with low-level numerical programming and optimizing code written using tensor librariesExperience in working with cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWSExpertise in software architecture, distributed systems architecture, or data engineeringGood to HaveMS, PhD, or academic research experience with a focus on quantitative or statistical methodsValuesGrowth mindset - we're always learning and growingCustomer focus - we want to make the customer happy with our productOwnership mentality - we think like owners in the businessRadical candor - we're transparent and give direct feedback to one anotherEmpathic disposition - we're kind to one another and help each other growBenefitsEquity packageGenerous base salaryHealthcare Benefits (medical, dental, vision)Travel to meet with the teamFlexible PTO Policy12 Company Paid Holidays
