Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures. Prepare a clear, accurate preliminary report in both verbal and written format for radiologist and/or other medical providers.
Document medical history related to the exam being performed and complete daily computer work.
- Maintain credentials and/or licensure
- Participate and attend departmental meetings
Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- Take ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
Communicate and listen effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understand instructions and share knowledge.
Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and ARDMS Eligible
- ARRT, ARDMS or equivalent registered or eligible
- Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire
- Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry
- Basic Life Saving Certified
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
- One (1) year experience in the healthcare/hospital environment
