The Role
As a Principal Developer, you will play a pivotal role in building and modernizing our web application projects, focusing on creating dynamic, scalable, and responsive applications using React, Node.js, and micro-frontend architectures. You will help lead our web development strategy, advocating for best practices in both frontend and backend development, ensuring our projects align with the latest industry standards and customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of complex, high-performance web applications using React, React Native, Node.js, and micro-frontend architectures.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks, leveraging TypeScript, JavaScript, AWS Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes to enhance application quality and scalability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of web and mobile development efforts with business and product strategy.
Ensure the timely delivery of web and mobile applications through effective use of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and agile development practices.
Promote “shift-left” practices by incorporating DevSecOps, security standards, and user-centered design principles early in the development lifecycle.
Mentor developers in React, React Native, Redux, React Hooks, and testing frameworks, fostering best practices and continuous learning.
Champion agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and high-quality output.

Advanced React.js Knowledge:
Expert-level understanding of React.js, its core principles, lifecycle, state management, hooks, and context API.
Micro-Frontend Architecture:
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing micro-frontend architectures, including module federation and dynamic module loading.
JavaScript & TypeScript Proficiency:
Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, including strong typing, interfaces, and type-safe development, as well as asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
HTML5 & CSS3:
Strong skills in creating responsive and adaptive designs using HTML5 and CSS3, including pre-processors like SASS or LESS.
State Management Tools:
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and their integration with React applications.
Node.js & Express.js:
Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and Express.js, with experience in building and managing RESTful APIs, middleware, and server-side applications.
Testing Frameworks:
Familiarity with testing frameworks and libraries such as Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
Build Tools:
Proficiency in using build tools like Webpack, Rollup, or Parcel for bundling and optimizing web applications.
Version Control:
Extensive experience with version control systems, particularly Git, including branching strategies and collaborative development workflows.
RESTful APIs:
Experience with consuming RESTful services and APIs, understanding the principles of REST, and experience with GraphQL is a plus.
CI/CD Pipelines:
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices, including familiarity with tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
Containerization Technologies:
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of web applications.
Cloud Services:
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services related to web hosting, storage, and scalability.
Performance Optimization:
Skills in web performance optimization, understanding how to analyze and improve page speed and application responsiveness.
Security Practices:
Knowledge of web security practices, including understanding of cross-site scripting (XSS), cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and how to secure React applications.
Agile Methodologies:
Experience working in agile development environments, with a solid understanding of agile principles, practices, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in React based web application development, with at least 5+ years focused on React.
Deep understanding of React framework and its core principles, including functional components, hooks, and context API for state management.
Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript) and experience with RESTful services and APIs.
Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and AWS cloud services.
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically, and strong leadership qualities.
Effective communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
