Day or Night Shift Availability (TBD) -
13-week contract - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first full week of orientation.
Will be required to work various shift lengths and various days. Must be flexible.
No guarantee of hours. No guarantee of shift preference.
General job duties: RN med/surg level care of
patients
18 and over.
May float to surg peds or transitional care units.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept:
Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, etc.
Required skills and minimum years of experience:
2 + years’ med surg or higher level of care.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:
BLS required, ACLS is preferred.
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept:
Medical - 50
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit:
Medical 1:5
Dress Code:
Professional nursing attire. No specific scrub
colors
. Closed toe shoes.
Department specific training and orientation program:
