JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios:Shift:Call Requirement: Yes, call requiredFloat Requirement: No floatWeekend Requirement: every third weekend/4 weekend shifts per contract
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery and post partum care.
The postpartum nurse must be able to manage a 3 couplet assignment for a total of 6 patients, attend a delivery as a baby nurse and provide resuscitation and stabilization to the infant after delivery if needed.
The candidate must be able to triage 1-2 labor patients, assume labor patients with 1:1 acuity including labor patients with hypertension and insulin dependent diabetics. Labor and PP pts.
