About Madrigal:Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.
Role Overview:As the Associated Director, Global Market Research, you will be responsible for leading in-depth market research to support decision-making across various global markets and key customers (i.e., HCPs, patients and payers). The role involves gathering and interpreting data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes to provide actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance market positioning. This position will report into the Direct of Market Insights.
Position Responsibilities:
Generate Strategic Insights| Spearhead the development of market insights to support launch planning, strategic initiatives, and tactical execution for Rezdiffra on a global scale.Analyze Market Dynamics | Collect, analyze, and integrate data from diverse sources and workstreams to deliver a comprehensive view of market nuances and trends, competitive landscape, and Rezdiffra's performance. Transform research findings into actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams and senior leadership.Manage Performance Tracking | Design and oversee tracking studies, key performance indicators, and ongoing assessments to monitor Rezdiffra's performance.Collaborate with Key Stakeholders | Partner with marketing, sales, market access, and medical affairs teams to ensure insights effectively shape and refine business strategies.Qualifications and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.At least 7-10 years of experience leading global quantitative and qualitative primary market research in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry. Candidates from agencies and consulting firms are also welcome.Must demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and derive actionable insights for informed decision-making.Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.Excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring effective coordination and execution of tasks within set timelines.Collaborative mindset with a track record of fostering teamwork and synergy across cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.Global product launch and payer market research experience preferred, experience in the metabolic space a plus.By embodying these qualifications, the ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the success and growth of our Market Insights team and broader organization.
Compensation:Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
