About the role This position is responsible for working with suppliers to plan finished goods, promos, displays and limited plant product, related to Bill of Material items. The key responsibilities involve following system requirements to support stated inventory strategies with the combined goals of proper cash flow management, inventory management and service level management Responsibilities Provide daily/weekly responses to customer service on supply issues by addressing the out of stock items with suppliers Execute Inventory replenishment of product Review inventory target levels and address potential gaps in supply with suppliers and/or Leviton manufacturing facilities Take part in weekly factory production meetings to resolve and communicate service and supply issues Collaborate with Planning (manufacturing and purchasing) in regards to execution related to various inventory programs Provide month end reporting on service issues, include root cause and correct action plan Execute excess inventory management plans by identifying items that should be liquidated or scrapped Participate in regularly scheduled meeting with Product Management to ensure supply issues are meeting business unit's goals Additional Responsibilities: Participate as an active team member of Interdepartmental teams Maintain high levels of expertise in the areas of life cycle, inventory and planning management Prepare and maintain guidelines and procedures in an ISO 9001 environment Qualifications Must have an understanding of supply chain and inventory management fundamentals Must posses an understanding of forecasting concepts Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Must be well versed in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in business or related field 1-3 years experience in Supply Planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience dealing with suppliers and order processing Working knowledge of MRP Systems APICS Certifications and/or well versed in Lean Six Sigma business methodologies preferred What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off For more information about benefits, please go to: https://careers.leviton.com/benefits Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
