Independent IV starts and lab draws from IV start, accurate vaginal exams, provide labor support, fetal monitor strip interpretation according to NICHD guidelines, strong ability to multi-task, communicate, comfortable with asking questions, and easily adapts to a new unit. We typically do not assign travelers to the triage role and do not require them to circulate unless they have previous experience.

L&D floats to Mother Baby.
Mother Baby floats off the unit if needed.
ON CALL:
L&D takes 24 hours of call per 4 week schedule period.
