General Description

TheSupply Chain Supervisorwill support and assist theOperations Managerwith day-to-day activities in their assigned functional area. Responsible for productivity, accuracy, and overall performance of team members while being consistent with business and customer service objectives. Performs related duties or as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provides hands on leadership, directing and leading team members to achieve customer service and department objectives.

Coach 10 to 40 team members in an assigned functional area in accordance with established procedures and schedules.

Resolves problems and opportunities in the assigned function.

Keep activities on track; escalates any out-of-scope problems to the next level or the most appropriate Team member for the situation.

Analyze operational procedures, processes, and activities to suggest improvements in assigned area.

Assures safety and maintains acceptable standards.

Maintain team member production and accuracy records, labor hours and carryover reports for assigned area.

Assures equipment in the assigned functional area is well maintained.

Communicates with assigned team members as well as all levels of management to assure positive team member relationships and a proactive approach for solving team member problems.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

Strong Customer Service experience preferred

Background in Jewelry Business strongly preferred

Experience communicating/negotiating with outside vendors

Candidates with strong leadership abilities preferred

Ability to work either 1stor 2nd shift or open to rotation

Open to changing shifts or workdays in the future

Six months hands on management experience preferred

Good communication and interpersonal skills a must

Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and typing skills preferred

Must be detail oriented and have the ability to initiate accurate correspondence and reports

Responsible for accuracy, daily reports, meeting daily/monthly goals, and overall performance while being consistent with business and customer service objectives

Conducts department meetings

Demonstrates strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Experience in Customer Service, Receiving, Shipping and demonstrates 1st time Quality mindset

Strong customer service background with exemplary Customer First techniques

Experienced in previous repair environment working within contractual allowances from a warranty company

Experienced in accounting, billing and reconciliation of month end reports

Interview, hire and train new talent; Corrective Action experience for accountability, including termination when warranted

Resolves associate issues and identifies areas of opportunity. Coaches for growth through positive reinforcement

Experience in writing SOP's, business procedures and job skills training checklists.

Adept in successful escalation resolution

Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma management techniques

Coach 25 to 30 team members by providing hands on leadership in the assigned functional area in accordance with established procedures and schedules

Oversees team member production and accuracy records, labor hours, UPH, and carryover reports for assigned area

Communicates with assigned team members as well as all levels of management to ensure positive team member relationships and a proactive approach for solving team member problems

Manages workflow production and accurately staffs the department

Analyzes operational procedures, processes, and activities to suggest improvements in assigned area

Ensures safety as a priority and maintains acceptable standards

Ensures equipment in the assigned functional area is well maintained
