As a Project Engineer II you will be be responsible for providing project engineering and project coordination support to assure proper design, procurement, and construction of capital and expense projects per regulatory and BASF standards. In addition to project engineering and coordination support, you will also be involved in managing small Projects from development scope to completion.
As a Project Engineer II, you create chemistry by
Developing project scopes, cost estimates, and funding requests.Conducting project safety reviews before and after approval.Implementing Value-Based Engineering practices for optimal project scope and cost.Collaborating with project manufacturing representatives throughout project execution.Coordinating engineering and design resources for project implementation.Managing procurement activities and vendor interactions.
If you
Have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar field.Have at least 8 years of experience in project engineering or a comparable role.Have experience in developing project scopes, generating cost estimates, and preparing appropriation funding requests.Are proficient in SAP, Primavera, MS Project, or similar platforms are a plus.Conduct project safety reviews before and after approval.Utilize Value-Based Engineering practices to optimize project scope and costs.Collaborate with project manufacturing representatives throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate process and discipline engineering and design resources.Communicate effectively with all levels of management on project status.Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health requirements.
