Brooksources Fortune 500 smart manufacturing is looking to hire a talented Azure Cloud Engineer to help the team establish best practices and create an environment that meets the cybersecurity standards of some key customers. This will be a hybrid role entailing 3 days a week in either their Milwaukee, Mayfield Heights, or Houston locations.What you will do:Work with customer business units to use cloud services to achieve revenue fasterDesign and implement technical solutions for business problemsDesign, code, and test new tools, applications, and servicesHelp teams use and implement DevOps tools and practicesWrite high-quality code compliant with enterprise and industry regulationsAuthor and iterate technical documentationStay current with latest cloud tech and obtain/maintain cloud certificationsAct as a mentor and learner- always answer and ask questionsTranslate architecture/road maps into implementable solutionsHelp Rockwell accelerate the adoption of cloud services across the organizationBring industry best-practices and new thinking to the teamPractice SAFE Agile principlesRequired Qualifications:Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or equivalent engineering experienceMinimum of 5 years of mixed IT experienceMinimum of 3 years of Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP)Strong scripting and automation skills (Terraform, PowerShell, Git)Technical Skills: Understanding of cloud computing technologies. Optionally, demonstrated hands on experience in one or more of the following:Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High AvailabilityAzure PaaS Services: Logic Apps, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, IoT suite, Advisor, etc.Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation, AD/Azure AD, ADFS, etc.Data Platform and Bigdata: SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, HDInsight/Hadoop, Machine Learning, CosmosDBLegal authorization to work in the US is required.
