Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionComplete MIG welding on custom trailers and heaters. Work off of blueprints to layout, clamp, and tack parts. Perform all work safely and utilize overhead cranes when needed to move equipment.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on custom trailers and heaters.Read and interpret blueprints to layout, clamp, and tack parts.Ensure all work is performed safely.Use overhead cranes for moving equipment when necessary.Essential Skills1+ year of MIG welding experience (experience from school or 'on the farm' is acceptable).Ability to read and layout from a blueprint.Capability to work collaboratively in a team of welders to complete projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in MIG welding.Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation.Why Work Here?Precision Equipment is a growing company with a supportive environment. This offers significant opportunities for personal and professional growth.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a standard metal shop with fabrication on one side and weld/assembly on the other. Paint and blast operations are conducted in a separate building. The dress code includes long sleeves, and uniforms are issued after long-term commitment is determined. The night shift hours are from 4 pm to 3 am, Monday through Thursday, with potential additional hours on Fridays. There is flexibility to train on day or swing shifts before transitioning to nights full-time. The schedule includes breaks at 7:30 pm-7:40 pm, lunch from 10 pm-10:30 pm, and a second break from 12:30 am-1 am.
