Overview
The HR Director for Supply Chain will serve as a strategic business partner and support the leadership team for Supply Chain. This role is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives, driving talent management initiatives, and fostering a high-performance culture. The HR Director will work closely with senior leaders and enterprise wide HR Team to influence the development of and implement HR policies, programs, and practices that support the overall goals of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with Supply Chain and Operations leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
Lead talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning.
Drive employee engagement and retention strategies to foster a high-performance culture.
Partner with HR COEs and implement HR policies, programs, and practices that comply with legal requirements and support organizational goals.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and career development.
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across the organization.
Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and develop strategies to address workforce challenges.
Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace.
Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and resolving conflicts.
Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Recommend and drive improvement to human resources systems, policies, and processes
Scans and benchmarks the marketplace to identify and leverage best practices/trends to influence the business and HR agenda
Become a trusted advisor and build trust and credibility with stakeholders through being accessible, responsive, and accurate in guidance
Maintain HR Budget for a given area of responsibility
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent management, employee relations, and HR strategy.
Proven experience as an HR business partner, preferably in a supply chain or operations environment.
Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
Experience in the wine and spirits industry or a related field.
Proven track record of leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics.
Specialized Skills and Technologies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
Strong analytical skills and experience with HR data analytics.
Knowledge of supply chain and operations processes and practices.
Physical Demands
Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device
Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lb
