*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, with experience in various settings including outpatient and inpatient care. This role involves working closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function. A focus on discharge planning and collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
*Duties** Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.* Utilize knowledge of orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and other relevant specialties to inform treatment strategies.* Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and facilitate discharge planning.* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with clinic policies.* Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
*Qualifications** Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.* Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and various body systems.* Experience in outpatient or inpatient settings preferred; familiarity with orthopedics, geriatrics, and pediatrics is a plus.* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
