Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Job Position: Forklift/Material HandlerLocation: Statesville, NC 28625Pay Rate: $17.00/hrShift: 1st ShiftExciting Opportunity for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator in Statesville, NC!Join our dynamic team at a local company in Statesville, NC, where we are currently seeking skilled Material Handler/ Forklift Operator to fill a 1st shift opening starting Monday, December 2nd, 2024.Key Responsibilities:Valid forklift certification or license and/or proven experience as a forklift operator. (2+ years required)Must possess a valid driver's license.Must be comfortable working indoors and in outdoor environments for up to 10 hours per day as needed.Experience on Propane powered sit-down forklifts is strongly preferred.Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count materials within the warehouse.Load and unload trucks ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movement.Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues.Position Details:December Training Hours: Regular shift of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.Shift: This is a 1st shift position, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. Regular hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm, however if production demands, employees should be prepared to work until 5:30pm and on Saturdays If necessary.
