As we expand our Pricing Organization to adequately support Regenerons growth, you will play a key role in leading the Pricing Strategy and being a strategic thought partner and subject matter expert for the organization. The Director, Pricing Strategy will serve as the primary point for the Brand on all pricing matters and will be responsible for leading the development and design of Global/US pricing and contracting strategies for a key oncology product. This position will lead the development of Global/US pricing guidance and management of ongoing market price proposal approvals and serve as the subject matter expert on pricing trends and practices. This role requires a deep understanding of traditional and innovative approaches to pricing, contracting and reimbursement of specialty products, including the buy and bill model of reimbursement in oncology. The position requires demonstration of strong leadership and collaborative problem-solving skills. The position requires a solid understanding of the payer archetypes and pricing dynamics. Having both US and Ex-US knowledge and experience will be a plus. A typical day may include the following: Lead the development and design of US price actions and contracting strategies. Work with key cross functional colleagues from Marketing, Market Access, GPO and Payer teams, Legal, Finance, Insights & Analytics to optimize pricing/contracting strategies and to ensure alignment with brand plan. Conduct pricing research, analyze market dynamics, and monitor contracting landscape to inform strategic decision making. Provide relevant pricing and contracting information/reports and strategic recommendations to senior management. Leverage data and strategic insights to optimize price and contracting strategy. Collaborate with Global and Local Market Access teams on the development of payer negotiation strategies and tactics, including development of alternative pricing models such as price-volume arrangement, budget CAPS, and outcomes-based arrangements. Collaborate with Market Access and HEOR to ensure that appropriate pricing elements are incorporated into the Global Value Dossier, payer value proposition, and objection handler. This role may be for you if: Provide strategic inputs on market specific price proposals to support Pricing Committee governance process Monitor market trends and P&MA environment and identify implications for the Regeneron portfolio. Provide price-evolution inputs (GTN, ASP) to Finance and Commercial to support forecasting and commercial strategic planning. Experience working with multi-disciplinary functions which will include Marketing, Market Access, HEOR, Finance, Legal, Trade, etc. Excellent knowledge of pricing market research tools, methodologies, models, and analytics To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in math, economics, business administration, health sciences, health policy, health economics or other relevant qualification. MBA or other advance degrees a plus. 15 years progressive pharmaceutical Pricing and Market Access experience acquired at pharmaceutical/biotech companies or relevant healthcare consultancy companies in a multi-national context: US & Ex-US experiences. Solid working knowledge of oncology contracting and Buy & Bill dynamics in the US as well as Ex-US payer archetypes and HTA/reimbursement decision processes. Must have strong leadership skills, strategic mindset, and the ability to influence without authority. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude to work collaboratively in a matrix team environment. Does this sound like you?
