**Job Description:**
- Work in a 12-bed Specialized Intensive Care Unit (SICU).- Collaborate with a team comprising a Day Shift Director, Manager, Clinical Coordinator, RNs, and Patient Care Technicians for day shifts, and RNs and Patient Care Technicians for night shifts.- Manage patient ratios of 2:1, 3:1, or 1:1 depending on patient needs.- Operate and manage various equipment such as CRRT, IABP, Impella, Arctic Sun, BIS, Vigilance, Cheetah, and Pyxis.- Utilize the Meditech EMR system for patient care documentation.- Adapt quickly with surgical procedures such as drains and central line placement.- Exhibit a collaborative and team-focused personality.- Engage with patients throughout the facility as needed.- Comply with the dress code: Navy Blue scrubs.- Work every other weekend with no on-call requirement.
The ideal candidate should be team-focused and have a strong foundation in ICU practices with a preference for surgical experience.
