In collaboration with Orthopedic Hand Surgeon, provides specialized upper extremity therapeutic services including evaluation, treatment, and education. The Certified Hand Therapist is responsible for coordinating the activities to support and promote the in-house hand therapy program as well as serve as a resource for local patient care in conjunction with referrals from other providers.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher degree from an educational program for occupational or physical therapists.
Minimum Work Experience
Extensive training in upper extremity dysfunction with collaborative working relationships with Orthopaedic Hand Surgeons.
Required Licenses/Certifications
State licensure (or eligible) as an Occupational or Physical Therapist.
BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Strong Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and relate information to individuals of varying ages from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
Pay Range = $32.01 - $51.15
