Offering excellent non- or limited-invasive, non-interventional general cardiology care to adult patients in our outpatient clinic and at our community hospitalProvide general cardiology care 3-4 days per week in our outpatient cardiology clinicImplant pacemakers and loop recorders (not required skills)Perform CardioversionRead echoes, Holter monitors, stress tests, and EKGsParticipating in a 1:4 shared hospital callNo outpatient clinic on hospital call dayRound on inpatientsConsult with ED and HospitalistsOversee the hospital's cardiology labPerform TEE's (required skill)Collaborating with the hospital's impressive Cardiac Rehab program and staffEnjoying a strong referral base from within our community's providersPartnering with highly trained, competent, and caring support staffWorking in a group where hearts are big and teamwork rules the dayProviding services in a community where healthcare providers are appreciated every day for their heroic workIn return, we'll provide your employment through Mercy Medical Group, which will include:

Diagnostic Procedures:

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.Perform procedures as neededCollaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

A valid and unrestricted California medical licenseBoard eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)Completion of an accredited post-graduate training programPay Range$224.00 - $237.00 /hour
