As a Senior Software Architect at SEON, you will lead software engineering projects across our product development organization and shape our technical architecture.This is a remote role and the ideal candidate will be based in Europe.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Work out the technical scope of cross-team software projects based on the business requirementsCollaborate with the development teams to design robust and performant solutions to the needs of SEON and our customersAnalyze the performance of existing systems and work out solutions for improving itDocument design decisions in the form of Architecture Decision RecordsReview the implementation of the technical plansPrepare deployment and migration plans and improve on existing deployment processesCollaborate with the engineering teams to push our solutions to production in a timely and efficient mannerCollaborate with the Product Management team to prioritize, schedule and deliver new developmentsWork together with the SRE team to troubleshoot production issues and to enhance the observability of existing productsManage the implementation of our projects, coordinate between teamsWHAT YOU’ll BRING:Strong working knowledge of modern web development technologies (one or more of the following: Java with Spring (preferred), JavaScript/TypeScript, Python)Experience with measuring and improving the performance of distributed systemsStrong understanding of how web services and SaaS applications workExperience with at least one major cloud provider (preferably: Amazon Web Services)Experience with relational databases (we use PostgreSQL)Experience with multiple database technologies (eg.: ClickHouse, Neo4J, Redis, Elasticsearch)Experience with modern DevOps tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, ELK stack)Strong organizational skills and ability to work together with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently, prioritize your own workloadExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsWHAT WE OFFER:Competitive salary and incentive compensation structureHybrid work modelExtensive Benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, 401k w/ match, etc.)Best-in-class tech gearImmediate impact on a smart, growing, global teamAccess to continuous development tools & a strong coaching cultureEmployee stock ownership plan (ESOP)Generous vacation & leave policiesComplimentary weekly language coursesWeekly in-office lunch delivery budgetWhat’s Next:Sounds good?
