Read more at www.dsv.com Location: USA - Kent, 228th St South Division:Air & Sea Job Posting Title: Global Account Director, Consumer Vertical - 86953 Time Type: Full Time Summary The Global Account Director will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key global accounts in the Consumer and Retail industry. They will be accountable for driving revenue growth, Developing and executing account strategies and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Global Account Director will report to the Director, Americas Lead, Consumer vertical. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Cross sell throughout all three divisions in DSV, Air & sea/Road/Solutions Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at assigned global accounts. Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within assigned accounts Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely resolution of customer issues Prepare and present business reviews and performance reports to clients and DSV management Conduct regular account planning and review meetings with the team. Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and issue resolution. Leverage vertical knowledge, insights, and skills into account work. Establish a strong collaboration with the account executives. Commercial single point of contact for the account on a day-to-day basis. Act as central escalation point for commercial, operational and contractual issues (including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Accounts Receivable (AR)) Identify and resolve operational challenges of importance to customer in collaboration with the divisions. Coordinate with executive and operational teams across divisions and locations Drive pipeline management incl. collection and maintenance of opportunities and awards (e.g., in CRM) Educational background / Work experience Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is required Master's degree in business or a related field is preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or account management in the transportation and logistics industry dealing with Consumer and Retail customers Experience managing global accounts and developing account strategies is required.
