RF design RF Engineer In-Building/Venue/DAS

Job Posting Title: RF Engineer
Location: Houston, TX or Little Rock, AR

Duration: 30 months

Working Model:: Hybrid

The candidate will work a hybrid schedule. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays work will be conducted at a home location.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays work should be conducted at network/administration office.

The candidate is required to have ample home internet to remote VPN into network.

Description:

• We are looking for an experienced In-Building/Venue Engineer
• Experience with RF designs using Nokia and/or Samsung radios required.
• Knowledge of various different types of DAS infrastructure vendors is a plus.
• Skilled at creating projects with the appropriate templates.
• Should be well versed with IBWave, Modules, Tracker Dashboards, IXUS EME software, Google Earth, Conquest, and Atoll.
• Experience with FR1 (700, 850, Band66, PCS, & C Band) and FR2 (28 & 39 GHz).
• Determine to employ IXUS software or engage a third party EME vendor to conduct an RFE analysis to mitigate exposure.
• Skilled with ibwave analysis to achieve coverage and design objectives.
• Ability to work on new and modification designs.
• Experience with large venues (NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, etc.) and IB DAS'. Super Bowl experience is a plus.
• Review Close Out Documents after a DAS is installed to determine if As Built matches the RF Design.
• Ability to work well with other teams to keep projects moving forward.
• Candidate should have excellent communication and have knowledge using MS Office and Google Software Suite.
• Candidate should have excellent project management skills, to track and update status, dates, details in regards to project progress, etc.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical field.
• Four or more years of relevant In-Building/Venue RF design and optimization work experience.
