Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Irving, TX location.
Duties: Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in IT and backend development, or in a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in an above stated field of study, and two (2) years of experience in IT and backend development, or in a related occupation. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master's degree experience. Four (4) years of experience or two (2) years in the alternative with a Master's degree must include: Utilizing IDEs and tools including IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, SQL Developer, Postman, STS, Splunk, Kibana, and AppDynamics for development and analysis purposes; Working with object-oriented principles, Java design patterns, and coding patterns to build enterprise level applications; Working with Spring Boot, Microservices, and Object Relational Mapping frameworks including hibernate to build highly scalable and available enterprise applications; Implementing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with solid principles for scalability and extensibility using Spring Boot, Spring REST, Netflix Feign, Webservices, and JPA (Java Persistence API); and Utilizing Junit, Mockito, Karate, and Cucumber frameworks to write unit tests and to provide code coverage for applications. 40 hrs./wk.
