Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) TAG is a subsidiary of A&M, an established leader in providing global leadership and advisory services to a variety of diverse industries. TAG professionals specialize largely in providing financial and accounting buy-side and sell-side due diligence, capital markets and accounting advisory, global transaction analytics, ESG advisory and other related M&A services for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family office and corporate clients around the world. A&M's Transaction Advisory Group has an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Nashville, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Job Summary: Alvarez & Marsal's Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner at the Director level to spearhead our AI initiatives, with a focus on GenerativeAI. This individual will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of AI solutions, ensuring alignment between the AI Global Task Force (GTF), stakeholders, and development resources. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in digital product development, with a strong preference for experience in Private Equity (PE), Merger & Acquisition and/or Financial Due Diligence (FDD). This is a global leadership role. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy: Lead the AI initiative for Global TAG, shaping the vision and strategy for AI-driven solutions. Act as the primary point of contact between the Global TAG AI GTF, stakeholders, and development teams. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and stakeholder needs. Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to deployment. Define success metrics and KPIs to for the AI products and use data-driven insights to monitor performance and inform ongoing improvements to ensure value creation and adoption. Conduct market analysis and engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and opportunities for AI-driven products, using these insights to guide product development. Prioritize product features and manage the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of high-impact solutions. Integrate user feedback loops for continuous alignment and fine tuning to the practice's needs Collaborate with cross-functional teams including domain experts, customer success, and lead architects to design and deliver AI products. Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication and collaboration among various stakeholders including the TAG AI GTF, Global TAG representatives, and third-party development teams. Ensure that stakeholder requirements are accurately captured, validated, and translated into actionable product features. Ensure the multiple global regional considerations as well as practice verticals' are accounted and addressed Technical Oversight: Participate in technical discussions and generate consent from technical stakeholders and development teams to ensure accuracy, scalability, resiliency, and measurable operational efficiencies. Ensure that AI solutions are developed and deployed in alignment with ethical standards, addressing considerations such as bias, transparency, and data privacy. Numerical Analysis and Analytics Buildout Leverage extensive experience in heavy numerical analysis to implement and refine digital solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making. Drive the buildout of advanced analytics capabilities, ensuring that AI products are underpinned by rigorous quantitative analysis and contribute to actionable business insights. Collaborate with Financial Due Diligence consultants and analysts to seek continuous feedback and integrate AI into the diligence process, optimizing product performance and user engagement. Financial Due Diligence (FDD): Leverage FDD expertise to integrate financial analysis and insights into AI product development. Ensure that AI solutions meet the rigorous standards required for financial due diligence processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital product development, with a proven track record of leading AI initiatives. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies, machine learning models, and data analytics. Demonstrated ability to manage product development cycles, from concept to launch. Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a customer-centric approach. Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools such as Jira, git, confluence, Jenkins, sql, R/python, scikit learn, numpy, pytorch, azure and transformers Experience in Financial Due Diligence (FDD) is highly desirable. Additional Information: Travel may be required based on project needs. This role requires a proactive and innovative individual with a passion for leveraging AI to drive business value. The salary range is $150,000 - $300,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
