Duke Orthopedic Surgery and Duke Spine Division are seeking two
additional
mid-career Physiatrists,
with great clinical acumen, maturity, and a commitment to provide high quality compassionate patient care to join Duke's well-established Spine Program in
Raleigh-Durham, NC . Applicants should be BE/BC in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine, plus have completed an Interventional Spine/Pain Management or Musculoskeletal Medicine/Sports Medicine fellowship. Experience in fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided spinal and peripheral procedures, including spine procedures, spinal cord stimulator, peripheral nerve blocks and/or stimulation and musculoskeletal procedures is preferred. Interest and passion in clinical research and EMG/NCS are plus.

Responsibilities will include consultation, evaluation, and comprehensive clinical care and management of patients with acute and chronic spine or musculoskeletal disorders. Successful candidates will be trained and confident in the identification of the etiologies and the determination of the best intervention strategies for the spine and/or musculoskeletal disorders, collaborating effectively with the surgical and non-surgical team. Teaching opportunities available through education and oversight for medical students, residents, fellows, and APPs. The new faculty members will work standard hours with no formal call responsibilities.
