Your Mission is Ours.Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer for a position within the Aeronautics Business Area. Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages of a platform's program lifecycle. The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) discipline is consulted and responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities. MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production.This position will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures. The day-to-day tasking will include working with design engineers and shop floor personnel to support production of our various platforms. This position is at a facility that requires special access.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technology-related degree plan, e.g., Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, or Aeronautics Engineering Technology• Other degrees within consideration include: Product Engineering and Assembly, Manufacturing Quality and Productivity, Manufacturing System Design, Process and Product Engineering, Materials and Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Process and Tool Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aero Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering• Ability to work in a team environment demonstrated through organized group activities• Must be a US Citizen.
